ACLScript function syntax conventions

In this guide, the following conventions are used to describe the ACLScript function syntax.

Convention

UPPERCASE

The name of the ACLScript function. The function name must be specified with brackets even if no parameters are being specified. For example: RECNO( )

italic

User-supplied parameters of ACLScript syntax.

< >

(angled brackets)

Optional syntax items. Do not type the brackets.

The following phrases are used to identify the values that can be specified as input parameters for ACL functions, and those that identify the output, or return values, of functions:
