Defining ACL tables

In order to view and analyze data in ACL you need to provide the information required for ACL to read the data source, whether it is a file, a database, or any other type of data source. For many data sources, such as file-base ones like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, and databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, the necessary information is available as metadata that ACL can read automatically. For other data sources, such as older file formats or files that do not have a table-like structure, you need to provide ACL with information about how the data source should be processed. The process of specifying this information is called defining a table, and the task of defining tables is completed using the Data Definition Wizard.
