Modifying data sources for ACL tables

If you have an ACL table layout that applies to more than one data source, you can modify the link between the table layout and a specific data source. For example, if you define an ACL table from a delimited text file that contains January invoice data, you can use the same table layout for the February invoice data provided that both delimited files have fields that can be read from the data source the same way. When you get the data for February, you can either modify the link to the new data file, or copy the ACL table for January and then modify the link so that you retain both files.

You can link a table layout to a new data source if the data source is a delimited text file, a text file with line breaks, or an ACL data file (.fil) with an identical record structure.
