ACL provides two types of online help:
Context-sensitive help – You can press F1 from any location in ACL, or click the Help button
from most locations, to open a help topic
that explains the currently active window, dialog box, tab, or wizard
screen. From this initial help topic you can often click links to
access additional, more detailed information in the online version
of the ACL Analytics User Guide.The online version of the ACL Analytics User Guide – You can select to access the ACL Analytics User Guide directly, without any context sensitivity. Selecting opens the ACL Analytics User Guide with the Index tab active.
ACL also provides these other types of help:
Contact information – Select to open a web browser displaying ACL contact information.
Serial number and software version information – Select to open a dialog box with the product serial number, and the software version number. Unicode editions of ACL display the word Unicode after the version number. Non-Unicode editions display only the version number.
If you are an ACL GRC user with a subscription license for ACL the word Subscription appears in the dialog box instead of a serial number.
Welcome page links – Select the Welcome tab to access links under Education to the following web-based resources.
