Adding users to ACL Launchpad

If you were a supported ACL customer prior to the release of ACL Analytics 11 you may already have been added to ACL Launchpad by ACL, and received an email with instructions about how to sign in.

ACL account administrators can add other ACL Analytics users to ACL Launchpad by inviting them to join an organization. There is no limit on how many people you can add to ACL Launchpad. However, the terms of your company’s software subscription dictate the maximum number of licenses that can be assigned at any one time. For more information, see Viewing subscription information.

When you add a user to ACL Launchpad, an automatic email notification is sent to the user with instructions about how to sign in to ACL Launchpad, and create a password. Once signed in, users can download the software installation package. Upon first using the installed software, users are required to activate the software by signing in to ACL Launchpad using their credentials.

Users who report not receiving the email notification should check their spam filter. The email notification should be sent from notifications@aclgrc.com.

You can also use the procedure below to invite existing ACL Launchpad users to new or additional organizations. In this situation, the automatic email notification informs the user of the invitation but does not require the user to sign in.

To add a user to ACL Launchpad:

  1. Sign in to ACL Launchpad (www.aclgrc.com).
  2. If your company uses more than one organization in ACL Launchpad, make sure the appropriate organization is active, or select the appropriate organization from the drop-down list.
  3. Select Users.
  4. Click the green plus sign beside Users.

    This option only appears if you are an ACL account administrator.

  5. In the Invite New User window, enter a user name and an email address and click Send Invitation.

    The user is added to ACL Launchpad, and to the currently active organization, with the default role of Account User. The automatic email notification is sent to the user.

  6. If required, change the user’s Role to Account Admin.

    There is no limit on how many users can be ACL account administrators for an ACL Launchpad organization.

  7. Specify a subscription type for the user.
  8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 if you want to add more users to the same organization.
  9. Select a different organization and repeat steps 3 to 7 if you want to add users to a different organization.
