Parameters

OPEN

Specify this keyword to display a list of the ACL tables and project files that are currently open.

PRIMARY | SECONDARY

Specify PRIMARY (or omit this parameter) to display information for the currently active table, or SECONDARY to display information for the secondary table. In multiple-table mode, SECONDARY refers to the secondary table associated with the currently active table.

The information displayed includes the table name, the source data file name, any relations between the table and other tables, and the field definitions from the table layout. For each physical data field in the table, the following information is displayed: Name, Type, Start, Length, Decimals, and Field explanation. For computed fields, the Name, Type (listed as Computed), and Field explanation values are displayed. The expression that defines the computed field, including the default value, is displayed on the following row.

HISTORY

Specify this keyword to display the table history for the current ACL table. If there is any history associated with the table it is displayed.

RELATION

Specify this keyword to display the tables involved in a relation and the index that is being used to relate the tables.

variable_name | VARIABLES

Specify the name of a variable to display the value of that variable, or specify the VARIABLES keyword to display the values of all system and user-defined variables in a table, and the remaining memory available to store variables.

VERSION

Specify this parameter to display version information for ACL. The Type value indicates whether the non-Unicode (000) or Unicode (001) edition of ACL is installed.

DATE | TIME

Specify either keyword to display the current operating system date and time.

FREE | SPACE

Specify either keyword to display the amount of physical memory (RAM) available for use by ACL. The amount displayed does not include memory reserved for variables. By default, ACL reserves 60kb of physical memory to store variables, but the amount is automatically increased as necessary.

Remarks

If this command is used in a script, the results are written to the ACL command log.
