Customizing the user interface
Rearrange, re-size, and show or hide views in the main application window to customize the AX Client user interface.
Rearrange the Search Results or Help view
Note
The Server Explorer, Properties, and Job Status views cannot be moved directly, however their placement does automatically adjust to accommodate movement of the Search Results and Help views.
- On the title of the view you want to move, click and drag to the location you want to move it to.
- When the cursor shows that the view is positioned where you want, release the view.

Re-size a view
Position the mouse cursor over the line
separating two views so that the double-arrow cursor is
displayed, and click and drag to re-size the view.
Display a view
To display a view, do one of the following:
- Select
If a view has a checkmark beside it (Windows XP) or the icon is highlighted (Windows 7), the view is currently being displayed. Otherwise it is not displayed on screen.

- Select Help view.
Click Close
on the Help tab to hide the Help view.

From the menu, select File > Restore Defaults.

If the mouse button is released when this cursor is displayed, the view will be placed to the left of the view beneath the cursor. |

If the mouse button is released when this cursor is displayed, the view will be placed as a tab in the same pane as the view beneath the cursor. |

Detach |
If the mouse button is released when this cursor is displayed, the view will be detached from the main application window. This cursor is displayed when you drag a view outside the main application window. |
