Update AX Server analytic engine to version 15.0.0
Update AX Server's analytic engine to remain compatible with the latest updates in Analytics 15.0.0. You must run the update on AX Server and any instances of AX Engine Node.
Note
This procedure updates the version of the AX Connector and the AX Engine components, and installs additional required prerequisites if they are not present on the server.
This procedure does not update or upgrade AX Server as a whole. For information about upgrading the entire application, see Upgrading AX Server.
Add certificate authority URLs to your network allowlist
Galvanize has updated the digital certificate used by the analytic engine. To ensure that AX Server continues to work after updating the analytic engine, you may need to add URLs associated with the certificate authority to your network allowlist. After updating the analytic engine, inspect the installed certificate to get the required URLs.

Note
If you are performing the update during working hours, notify AX Client and AX Web Client users in advance to log out. Once you stop the AX Server services, no one can access AX Server.
In AX Client, check to make sure no analytics are currently running, queued, or scheduled to run shortly. If your planned update conflicts with the running of analytics, perform the update at a different time, or reschedule queued or scheduled analytics as required.
- On the AX Server or AX Engine Node machine, stop the AX Server services
in the following order:
- Analytics Exchange Connector
- ACL Analytics Exchange Service
Although Windows may indicate within a few seconds that the ACL Analytics Exchange Service is stopped (or started), the TomEE application server may take approximately a minute to actually stop (or start), depending on the speed of your server hardware.
