Direct database access for AX Connector

You can configure AX Connector to directly access the database server from Analytics. AX Connector uses the database server to access server tables on AX Server or the AX Engine.

Supported database servers

IBM DB2

  • Version 8.1
  • Version 8.2

Oracle

  • Version 11g release 2 (11.2)
  • Version 12c (12.1)

Note

To enable direct database access on Oracle, you must install the Oracle Instant Client.
