Application permissions

Application permissions are defined at both the collection level and the folder level. Use permissions to control who can view or edit content in individual collections and folders.

Permission types

  • No permissions users cannot access the collection or folder from the Server Explorer or AX Web Client, the item is excluded from their view
  • Read only users can view, copy, export, and open audit content without making changes to the content in the collection or folder

    Note

Users with Read only permissions for a folder have full access to any visualizations associated with that folder in AX Web Client, including create and delete rights.

  • Full permissions users can perform a full range of actions within the collection or folder except scheduling analytic chains
  • Administrators users have full permissions to all audit content
