Changing the ACL Analytics Exchange database password with pgAdmin

To change the ACL Analytics Exchange database password:

  1. Open pgAdmin and connect to the “AclAuditExchangeDB” database using the database Superuser account. The default name for this account is postgres.
  2. Expand the server entry you connected to in the Object browser treeview, and then expand the Login Roles subfolder.
  3. Right-click the user account used to connect to the ACL Analytics Exchange database and select Properties.
  4. Enter the new password in the Password and Password (again) fields and click OK.

    You need to update the login information in the aclDatabase.xml file, on each server where the Geronimo application server is installed, so that ACL Analytics Exchange applications can continue to access the ACL Analytics Exchange database. For more information, see aclDatabase.xml.
