Switching to Integrated Windows Authentication

If you selected form-based authentication during installation and you want to switch to Integrated Windows Authentication you can make the change by completing the following procedure.

To switch from form-based authentication to Integrated Windows Authentication:

  1. Complete the required configuration for Integrated Windows Authentication. For details, see Configuring Integrated Windows Authentication.
  2. Edit the required properties in the aclCas.properties configuration file with the settings necessary for Integrated Windows Authentication. The values specified are case-sensitive and must be uppercase. For information about the configuration settings, see aclCas.properties. You must specify values for all of the properties that indicate in the “Description” column that they are only used when Integrated Windows Authentication is enabled.
  3. Change the cas.authentication.mode property in the wrapper.conf configuration file from “form” to “silent”. The value specified is case-sensitive and must be lowercase.
  4. Restart the ACL Analytics Exchange Geronimo service.
