Activating Face ID

With Face ID you can sign in to Diligent Messenger using facial recognition.

Prerequisites

  • Your device or operating system supports Face ID.

  • Your Diligent Customer Success Manager has enabled Face ID for your Diligent Messenger account.

  • Face ID is enabled for every Diligent Messenger site you are part.

Activate

  1. Select Settings on your home screen.

  2. Select Face ID & Passcode.

  3. Enter the passcode for your device.

  4. Select Set Up Face IDand follow the on-screen instructions to configure Face ID on your device.

  5. When you next sign in to Diligent Messenger after Face ID has been enabled, you will see Face ID activation options.

    • Select Yes: The app will automatically scan your face to confirm that your Face ID is a match and take you to your Conversations hub. Face ID will be activated for sign in to Diligent Messenger in the future.

    • Select Maybe later: You will go straight to your to your default home screen. You will be prompted to activate Face ID the next time you sign in to Diligent Messenger.

    • Select No: You will go to your default home screen, and you will not be prompted to activate Face ID again.

    6. Note

    You can enable or disable Face ID at any time from your App Settings.
