Getting started with Messenger iOS

Diligent Messenger iOS is a secure communication tool for directors and executives in an organization or on a board. As an integrated solution to Diligent Boards, it provides a protected environment where people can collaborate through real-time chat conversations, while maintaining data privacy and security compliance. You can access Messenger iOS when you have installed the application from the iTunes App store and after it has been enabled for your Boards site .

Prerequisites

  • The Messenger iOS app is downloaded to your iPhone or iPad.

  • Diligent Messenger is enabled for your account and your account is activated.

If Diligent Messenger is not enabled, contact your Boards administrator or Diligent Support.

Download the Diligent Messenger app

Diligent Messenger is a free download for iPhone and iPad and is available on the iTunes App Store™.

Sign in

After you download the app, select the Diligent Messenger icon on your home screen. The first time you launch the application, you must enter the Boards site name for your organization.

Depending on your organization's authentication method, you can sign in to Messenger iOS in one of the following ways:

  • Standard authentication Sign in using your email and password.

  • Custom domain Authenticate using a custom domain, if your organization uses single sign on (SSO).
