Updating the app
To maintain the maximum level of security, it is essential to have the latest version of Messenger iOS. You can enable automatic app updates to ensure that you are always up to date or manually update the app.
Enable automatic updates (recommended)

Open the Settings app on your device.

Select App Store from the list of options.

Turn on the App Updates toggle to enable updates.
Your device will automatically download updates to Messenger iOS and all other apps on your device as soon as they are available.
Manual updates

Open the App Store on your device.

In the Search bar enter "Diligent Messenger".
The app will be displayed with the option to Update.
Note
If you see an Open option instead of Update, this means you are using the latest version of Messenger iOS and do not need to update.

Select Update.
Your app will be updated to the latest version.
