The ESG tab

You can use the tools in the ESG tab in the News & Analytics Web hub to assess the organization's media health in key ESG areas.

Note

The News & Analytics Web hub may not be available for your industry or site yet. Contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.

  1. Select News & Analytics in the left-hand navigation panel.

    Note

    If the left-hand navigation panel is not visible, select the Navigation menu icon in the upper left-hand corner to expand it.

  2. To access the ESG assessment tools, select the ESG tab.

  3. The organization's Overall ESG Score is based on a cumulative aggregate of news stories in the four major ESG pillars: Planet, People, Governance, and Prosperity.

    Note

    In calculating scores, a positive article is worth +1 (plus one), a negative article is worth –1 (minus one), and a neutral article neither adds nor subtracts from the total score.

  4. To view more in-depth media health scores and related articles for specific ESG metrics, move down the page to the ESG Topic Scores section.

  5. To see a summary of articles and health score for a pillar, as well as the list of topics that comprise that pillar, select one of the pillar tabs:

    • Planet

    • People

    • Governance

    • Prosperity

  6. To view articles about a topic that mention your organization, select a topic in the Topics column.
