Free AI trial FAQ

Discover our AI features without commitment with our free 30-day trial. This includes all available GovernAI features, including the Minutes module. After the 30 days have elapsed, the trial will be switched off automatically to ensure that there is no automatic cost incurred following the scheduled ending of the trial. You will also receive an email notification to confirm that the trial has expired. However, the trial can be extended by contacting your admin or Diligent representative.

Note

There is regional variability of the AI features depending on the AI models that are available by AWS Bedrock.

What is the process for requesting the free trial as a director?

  1. In Boards Web Director, select GovernAI at the top of the Home page or at the top of the page in an open book.

  2. Learn more about the value of our AI offering in the AI panel that opens.

  3. To submit your request for the free trial to your admin, select Request access.

    An email is then sent to your admin, with you in copy, to let them know that you’ve requested access.

  4. After the features are enabled and the 30 days have elapsed, you’ll receive an email notification informing you that the trial has expired.

  5. To keep the AI features or extend the trial, contact your admin.

What is the process for activating the free trial as an admin?

  1. If you received an email informing you that a director has requested access to the AI trial, select the Discover GovernAI link in the email to open the Discover GovernAI panel in Boards Web Admin.

  2. To activate the trial directly from within Boards Web Admin, select GovernAI at the top of the page in the Build book or Review book tab.

    OR

    Select Open Smart Book Builder in the Build book tab. Smart Book Builder is on the Diligent One Platform so you can provide consent to access it without signing in each time. See also Auto sign-in consent to Diligent One Platform.

  3. Learn more about the value of our AI offering in the AI panel that opens. Scroll down to the bottom of the panel to read about the terms and conditions of the trial.

  4. If you agree with the terms, select the Agree to terms checkbox.

    You must agree with the terms before you can request the trial.

  5. To activate the trial, select Try for free.

  6. After the trial has been activated, you will receive an email and in-app message confirming that the AI features are now available.

    The Minutes module will also be enabled for the site if it wasn't already.

  7. You can still remain in control of what content to share in Boards Web Director by using a Show to directors toggle for each AI feature.

  8. AI feature availability can be further customized by working with your Customer Success Manager. For example, you can request to hide Smart Risk Scanner or completely hide all AI content in Boards Web Director.

  9. After the 30 days are complete, you’ll receive an email notification informing you that the trial has expired.

  10. To keep the AI features or extend the trial, contact your Diligent representative.
