Annotations can be emailed as an attached PDF file, either through the native iOS Mail app, or through a third-party email app approved by your organization.

Note

Emailing annotations requires administrative approval and may not be configured for your site. If you have additional questions, contact your Diligent Boards Administrator. The email app in use must be configured and set up with your email credentials, as Diligent Boards will transmit email through this app.

  1. To email a copy of your annotations, select the Print/Email icon .

  2. Select either Email This Annotated Page or Email All Annotated Pages.

    Note

    If you are using a third-party email app, such as Outlook, a Share dialog opens after Step 2. Choose the email app that your organization has approved, then continue following the steps below.

  3. Enter the email address to which you want to send your annotations.

  4. Select Send.

    Note

    If watermarking is enabled for your site, each page of the newly created PDF will display your name and the time of printing, as well as any custom text added by your administrator.
