Boards iOS supports multiple languages, translating itself automatically based on the international settings of the device.

  1. On the iPad home screen, select the Settings icon.

  2. In the Settings menu, select the General icon.

  3. Select the Language & Region option from the General menu.

    Note

If you are using an older version of iOS, this button might be labeled International instead of Language & Region.

  4. Select the iPad Language button.

    Note

If you are using an older version of iOS, this button might just be labeled Language.

  5. A list of languages supported by your device is displayed. Select any of the following supported languages:

    • English

    • English (U.K.) — English

    • English (Australia) — English

    • Deutsch — German

    • Français — French

    • Español — Spanish

    • Español (Mexico) — Spanish

    • Italiano — Italian

    • Português (Brasil) — Portuguese

    • Português (Portugal) — Portuguese

    • Nederlands — Dutch

    • 简体中文 — Simplified Chinese

    • 日本語 — Japanese

    Note

If a language not supported by the app is selected, the app will remain in the last chosen supported language in iOS 7 and above.

  6. After selecting a language, select Done. The device interface and any apps that support the selected language will convert to that language. This process may take several moments to complete.

    Note

Changing the language setting of your iOS device will sign you out of any active app sessions. Changing the language setting of the device will not change the way dates and times are presented. To change this formatting, use the Region setting on the Language & Region settings menu.
