Adding and managing agenda items
Learn how to choose whether tabs appear in both the book and the agenda, only in the book, or only on the agenda.

To edit the display option for a tab, select the tab properties menu button.

Select the Tab Properties option.

The below instructions also apply to the "Add Tab" dialog that appears when adding a new tab.

To determine whether the tab appears only in the book, only on the agenda, or in both the book and the agenda, select the Display Options drop-down and choose from the following:

Agenda & Book: The tab and its contents appear in the book, and the tab appears on the agenda as an agenda item.

Book Only: The tab and its contents appear in the book, and the tab does not appear as an agenda item. This option is useful for appendix sections and the agenda itself.

Agenda Only: The tab appears as an agenda item, and it does not appear in the book. This option is useful for meals and breaks during the meeting.
Note
Tabs that have been set to "Book Only" or "Agenda Only" display a label on the Book Builder screen. Books that have been set to "Agenda & Book" do not display a label.

To include a presenter name for this item on the agenda, use the optional Presenter field.

To show a start and end time for this item on the agenda, use the optional Duration fields (Hours and Minutes).
Note
If the Duration fields are used, they should be used for all agenda items, otherwise some start and end times may appear inaccurately. Start and end times are calculated according to the durations entered for the current item and any preceding items.

To display additional information about this item on the agenda, use the optional Description field.

To save your changes and close this window, select Update.
