Printing book content
Expedite the printing process to access paper copies of your book content. This topic describes how to select and print documents, files, and other materials from your books.
-
Select the More options icon
on a book’s row in the Current Books or Archived Books hub.
-
Select Print from the dropdown menu.
-
Alternatively, from the Book editor, you can select the More options icon
on the top-right of the page, and select Print.
Note
If the Print option is not displayed in the dropdown menu, exporting and printing has not been enabled for you or your site. Contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
-
Use the Print dialog to customize the look and feel of your printed materials. Select one or more of the following options in the Page layout section:
-
Include headers and footers: adds the meeting title and tab name in the header and a page number in the footer of documents
-
Scale to fit: removes the default page scale setting
-
Include tab numbers on pages: adds the tab number on the side of documents
-
Include subtabs: adds the subtab number on the side of documents
-
-
In the Book content section, specify the content to print. Select one of the following options:
-
Entire book: prints all sections in the book that contain a file
-
Finalized content: prints only the pages that have been approved for final publication
-
Not finalized content: prints everything except the final approved content
-
Page range: includes a set of book pages within a specific range. You’ll also enter the beginning and ending page numbers of the range in the From and To fields that appear.
-
Tabs and files: includes all contents in a book tab or subtab
-
-
In the Duplex print options section, specify any double-sided printing options for tabs or sub-tabs. These ensure that the tabbed pages begin on the front side of the sheet (the odd-numbered side) when printing double-sided pages.
-
Select Print. A status message appears on the top-right of the screen, while exporting for print is in progress.
Note
While the export is in progress, you cannot select additional materials to print. Once the current export is complete, you can print more documents or files from the book.
-
The Print selection window appears. Depending on your browser and application, you can select the destination, pages, copies, color, and more settings, then select Print.
