Formatting board documents
This guide provides a reference for preparing documents for optimal viewing, including best practices to accommodate variations in document layout, margins, fonts, page breaks, scanned formats, and other variables that affect the ability to view document content.
By default, Boards respects the page orientation and setup of documents, and renders them on screen to look similar to a printed version. This means that most documents will typically display well, but that you also have control over document appearance using native Microsoft Office and/or Adobe PDF features.
To use the instructions in this guide, you will need Microsoft Office 2003 or above, and Adobe Acrobat Professional or a similar PDF editing program. (This does not include Adobe Reader.) This guide is for reference only, as document content and images can vary significantly.
