Viewing ESG Ratings Scores
Diligent gathers ESG data from a variety of reputable and trusted partners, such as Standard and Poors (S&P) Global and ClarityAI. These partners and their third party data provide a broad view of ESG positions, with the Diligent One Platform creating contextualized insights and visualizations for Directors within Boards. Use the ESG Ratings report to view real-time data points directly from third party providers and benchmark your organization's overall ESG performance and risk against the industry average.
Note
If Diligent One Platform is not visible in the left-hand navigation panel, or if ESG Ratings is not displayed in the Diligent One Platform, the ESG Ratings report has not been enabled for either you or your site. Contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

In the Diligent One Platform, select ESG Ratings to open the report.

In the S&P Global and Clarity AI sections, you can select Discover ESG Scores Methodology or email the address provided to learn more about how they measure ESG Scores.

In the ESG Rating Score visualizations, you can view your company's and the industry average ESG Rating Score.

To compare your company's ESG Rating Score with the average ESG Rating Score of other companies in the same industry, move your mouse over the graph.

In the ESG Rating By Pillar visualizations, you can view your company's and the industry average ESG Rating Score for each of the Environmental, Social, and Governance ranks.

To compare a pillar's ESG Rating Score to the industry average, move your mouse over the pillar name in the bar chart.

In the ESG Rating Trend visualization, you can view the trends in your company's overall ESG Rating Score over time.

The ESG Rating Trend visualization is only available from S&P Global.
