Viewing book content

This topic describes how to navigate and view the content of a book.

  1. Select a book from the Current Books or Archived Books hub to open it in the page view.

  2. There are several ways to turn pages in a book:

    • Use the forward arrow or the back arrow at the bottom of the screen.

    • Select the right or left edges of the page area.

      Note

      If you are using a device with a keyboard, you can also use the left and right arrows on the keyboard to turn pages.

  3. To go to a specific page, select the current page number on the bottom of the screen, then enter the page number you wish to go to.

  4. To scroll through book pages, press and hold the page slider, then move it forward or back.

  5. To return to the last page you were viewing, select Back to page.

  6. To open the book's agenda, select Agenda.

  7. To zoom in or out on the page view, use the zoom buttons.

    Note

    On a touchscreen device, you can also use a "pinch" gesture on the page view to zoom in or out.

  8. To expand the book’s navigation panel, select the Navigation icon on the top left of the page. The navigation panel displays an outline view of book tabs. Go to The Navigation panel to learn more.

  9. To access any available AI content, select AI Hub in the Navigation panel or select the AI Hub icon in the toolbar at the top of the page.

  10. To remove all elements of the page view and expand the book content, select the Reading mode icon on the top right of the page. The navigation options remain at the bottom of the screen.

  11. To close the book and return to the Current Books or Archived Books hub, select the back arrow on the top of the screen.
