Creating a new group

You can create a Director Network community group to provide a place for you and other individuals to talk about governance best practices, industry challenges, and emerging issues for the board and executive community.

Note

You can only create a new group if you claimed your profile.

  1. To view the groups page, select the Groups tab.

  2. To create a new group, in the Admin panel section, select Create new group.

  3. In the Group name field, enter a descriptive name for the group.

  4. In the Group description field, enter a description about the group.

  5. In the Community guidelines field, enter the guidelines for the group members.

  6. To add an image to represent the group, in the Group image section, select Add, and select your image.

  7. To resize the photo, use the slider and select Confirm.

  8. To complete the group creation, select Save.
