Editing your skills and expertise

Director Network identifies key areas of expertise based on the background that you provided at registration. You can edit your areas of expertise in the following categories, Experience, Industry & Sector Expertise, Specialist Expertise, and Committee Expertise.

All edits to the Expertise section must be reviewed by the Director Network analyst team. It may take up to 72 hours for expertise edits to be approved by the analysts and be visible to other users.

  1. On the Home screen, select View my Profile.

    Note

    If you are in Boards and not on the Director Network Home screen, select Navigation menu and select Director Network.

  2. At the top of the Expertise section, select Pencil .

  3. To remove a skill, select X beside the skill entry, and select Remove.

  4. To add a skill, select plus (+).

  5. In the Skill Name dropdown, select the skill that you want to add.

  6. In the Description field, explain why it should be added to your profile.

  7. Select Add.

  8. When you're done, select Save.
