Viewing individual profiles

You can view profile pages that summarize the available information about a person, based on publicly available information.

  1. To view an individual's profile, from any screen in Director Network, select a profile name. For furtther information about how to search for an individual, go to Searching for an individual or company.

    Note

    If you are in Boards and not in Director Network, select Navigation menu and select Director Network.

  2. Below the individual's name, the following basic data is shown:

    • Boards Serving

    • Age

    • Nationalities

    Note

    Users can add up to five nationalities to their profile.

    • Diligent Institute certificate badges

  3. The Multi-Board Insight section shows the number of boards and the boards on which the individual sits, how many committees they sit on, the length of their tenure, and any associations they have with our diversity affiliation partners.

    Note

    The information contained within Multi-Board Insight is based on your Current Positions and Past Positions. For further information about how to update your Current Positions, Past Positions, and Multi-Board Insights, go to Editing your current and past positions.

  4. The Overview tab contains the following two sections:

    • About: Displays general information about the individual.

    • Expertise: Displays identified areas of experience and expertise for the individual.

  5. The Events tab shows the upcoming Director Network events where the individual has been tagged as a speaker.

  6. To view the details of an event, select an event title.

  7. The Recent posts tab shows the individual's most recent posts on Director Network.

  8. The Current positions tab shows the board and non-board roles that the individual currently has.

  9. The Past positions tab shows the board and non-board roles that the individual previously held.

  10. The Education & info tab shows the education information of the individual and any other activities that they are a part of.

  11. The Connections tab shows other board members with whom the individual serves or has served.

  12. Select the name of a board member in the Board Position Connections or First Degree Connections sections to view their profile.
