Share a folder
Collaborate securely with external users by sharing folders. Recipients register for a free account using the invitation link. The role you assign them determines what they can do with the shared folder.

Go to your Private Workspaceand select Files from the navigation bar.

Go to the folder you want to share and select the more options icon

Select Share folder from the menu.

Select the level of authentication you want to apply.

Enter the recipient's email address and select Add Recipient or select from the suggested list of email addresses that appear when you start to type.
Tip
Multiple emails can be copied from outlook and pasted into the email field.

Select a role from the menu.
The selection defaults to Editor. For more information, go to Role Description.

(Optional) Add a personal message.

(Optional) Select Additional settings.

Preferred language Dictates the language the email is sent in. Automatic defaults to the recipient's browser setting.

Access expiration Limit how long recipients can access a folder.

Select Share folder.
An email is sent to the recipient notifying them of access to the folder.
Leave a folder share
If a folder has been shared with you and you are no longer involved in the project or it was shared with you by mistake you can leave the share to avoid receiving further notifications on activities undertaken in the folder.

Go to your Private Workspaceand select Files from the navigation bar.

Select Shared with me and select the folder's more options icon

Select Leave folder share.
A pop-up appears.

Select Leave to proceed.
You will now be removed from the share.
Role Description
| Role | Permissions and rights |

| Editor |
The recipient can download and open the folder’s content and create new folders; to move, copy and delete items; to create new versions, and upload new items, all within the shared folder. |
| Reader |
The recipient only has read and download access to content. |
| Co-Owner |
The recipient has the same permissions as the Editor role, together with additional permission to share folders and send item links. Note Co-Owners must be members of the same organization as the sender for the option to be available. |
