Edit email templates
The Diligent Workflow system sends email notification relating to jobs, workflows, tasks, expiry and discussions. The templates are customised and come inbuilt as part of your product. However, Global Administrators and Business Area managers can edit these templates to suit business needs.

Go to your profile and select Administration from the menu.

Go to the Business areas tab and select the business area you want to access.

Select the Email Templates tab to open the view of the email templates available to you.
Tip
You can sort the list alphabetically, by type, or by date modified by selecting the column title.

Select the name of the email template you want to work on.
The Edit Email Template opens.

Edit any of the fields in the template you want to change.

Add placeholder text from the list of Available Placeholders (Optional). These pull the relevant information from the system and place it in the email.

Select the type of placeholder.

Go to the area in the template you want to insert the placeholder text. Usually Email Subject or Email Body.

Select the placeholder to add it to the subject line or body of the email.

Select Save.

Preview the email by selecting Preview.

Send a test email by selecting Send Test.
