Abandon, archive, and duplicate your Job
You can abandon, archive or duplicate your job depending on the status of Workflows in that job.
Abandon
Abandon is how Diligent Workflow describe the act of deleting a job. After it has been abandoned the job is displayed in the Abandoned Jobs tab. You cannot restart an abandoned job, but you can Duplicate it to start a new Workflow.
Note
A Job that has a completed Workflow cannot be abandoned.

In your Jobs tab go to the job you want to abandon.

Select Action from the toolbar and then Abandon from the menu.

Enter the reason for abandoning the job in the required field and select Abandon.

The job will now display in the Abandoned Jobs tab and (Abandoned) will be noted beside the job number.
Note
The reason for abandoning the job will display in the Job’s History tab.
Archive
A Job that is completed can be archived so that your live jobs view is kept organized and up to date.
Note
Jobs can’t be archived if they have workflows that are not complete, or if they only have terminated workflows.

In your Jobs tab go to the job you want to archive.

Select Action from the toolbar and then Archive from the menu.

Select Confirm. The job is now archived, and no changes can be made to it.
The Job is moved to the Archived Jobs tab. To unarchive the Job select Unarchive from the Action menu.
Duplicate
You can duplicate a Job or Campaign to save time when sending updated content or creating new step sequences.

In your Jobs tab go to the job you want to archive.

Select Action from the toolbar and then Duplicate from the menu.

Select the chosen Completion date.
Tip
You can change the Job name and Job Owner if desired.

Select Save.
The job has a new number, and you will have to set up the Workflow. The files from the original Job will be copied over and accessible in your Job Files tab.
