Modify option pool
This section describes how to increase or decrease your current Option Pool
In the event that the Board approves of an Increase or Decrease to the current Option Plan, you will want to track the modifications within your Diligent Equity Option Plan Details.
To add a modification to the Option Plan within your account, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Option/Equity Plan under the Securities Section on the Navigation bar.

Select Modify Option/Equity Pool to open up the Modification Wizard

In the Modification Wizard enter in the details regarding the Pool Modification:

Name: This will appear in the Navigation Bar under the Option/Equity Section. Leave this as is or enter in a unique name

Select Plan: If multiple Option/Equity Plans exist in your account, verify that the correct plan is selected

Modification Date: the Date that the modification was approved by the Board

Scenario Mode: Leave as Actual

Enter in the Modification Amounts. Diligent Equity allows you to either enter in the new Available Percentage, the new Total Pool Percentage, or the Exact Number of options to modify the Plan by. Once you edit one of the fields, the other 2 will calculate accordingly.

To Increase your Option/Equity Plan add a Positive number or Higher % value to the Fields

To Decrease your Option/Equity Plan add a Negative number or Lower % value to the Fields

Select Finish to finalize the Modification.
Note
A new Tab appears under the Option/Equity plan. This is for tracking purposes only. All grants are still added under the actual Option/Equity Plan.
