Manage collaborators

Collaborators are users who are assigned to work together on a dataset.

  • Access, actions, and visibility are controlled by roles.
  • Collaboration is managed per dataset.
  • Only assigned collaborators can see or interact with a dataset.
  • Non-collaborators cannot view the dataset at all.

Roles and permissions

Each collaborator is assigned a role that defines their permissions.

Owner
  • Full control over the dataset
  • Create, edit, and delete datasets and tables
  • Run analyses
  • Execute queries
  • View data lineage
  • View, add, update, or remove collaborators
  • Export data

Editor
  • Edit datasets and upload source tables
  • Run and edit analyses
  • Execute queries
  • View data lineage

Reviewer

Add a collaborator

  1. On the ACL AI Studio home page, from the list of datasets, select View details for the dataset where you want to add a collaborator.

  2. On the dataset details page, from the vertical three dots menu, select Manage collaborators.

  3. In the Manage collaborators panel that appears, select Add collaborator.

  4. In the Add collaborator panel, select the names that you want to add and then select + Add.

Update a role

Collaborators are assigned the Reviewer role by default. You can assign a different role if required.

Note

You cannot update the role of an Owner.

  1. In the Manage collaborators panel, from the drop down menu next to the name of the collaborator, select the role that you want to assign.

  2. Select Save changes.

Delete a collaborator

You can delete only an Editor or a Reviewer.

  1. In the Manage collaborators panel, from the drop down menu next to the name of the collaborator, select the delete icon ().

  2. In the confirmation box, select Delete.

  3. Select Save changes.
