Commercial and GovCloud regions and limitations
The Diligent One Platform is available in multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) regions, and on commercial or GovCloud infrastructure. It is designed to take advantage of the efficiency and accessibility of a cloud-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model while upholding the highest standards of security and data privacy.

Available regions
Each Diligent One instance is hosted in a specific AWS region, determined during the initial setup process to align with your security and data sovereignty requirements. One instance can exist in only one region.
You can set up Diligent One in a standard data hosting region, or an AWS Government Cloud (GovCloud) region. Supported regions are listed here.

Different configurations are available based on the security and data sovereignty requirements of your governmental agency or partner organization. Diligent account managers work with customers to assure the correct GovCloud configuration.

GovCloud environments
The Diligent One Platform is available on GovCloud infrastructure for U.S. federal agencies, state and local government agencies, and educational agencies. The platform has a FedRAMP Moderate security authorization for all agency configurations. Additionally, Diligent One Platform implementations for U.S. federal agencies have DoD/IL5 certification.

GovCloud limitations
Certain capabilities of the Diligent One Platform do not have FedRAMP or IL5 authorizations, resulting in some features being unavailable in GovCloud regions. If you are a GovCloud customer, Diligent One can create a secondary commercial instance for you, where you can use these features outside your main Diligent One environment.
