Modeling your organizational structure

To start using the application, build an organizational structure.

Create an organizational unit

Create organizational units to model your organizational structure.

  1. From the Launchpad (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

    Note

    Diligent One Platform also supports the domain www.highbond.com. For more information, see Supported domains.

  2. On the Organizational Structure page that appears, select + Create organizational unit.

  3. In the Create organizational unit pane that appears, enter the required organizational unit information, and then select Next.

    Note

    An organization created in the root group is automatically a child of the root group.

  4. Review the new organizational unit information, and then select Create organizational unit.

Create organizational units in bulk

You can create and add multiple organizational units in a single operation.

  1. From the Launchpad (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

  2. On the Organizational Structure page, select Bulk add.

  3. In the Bulk add panel that appears, select Download template (xlsx).

  4. In the template, enter the required information for the organizational units.

  5. Review the new organizational unit information, and then select Create organizational unit.

  6. Upload the filled out template and select Bulk upload.
