Identifying risks

Use Risk identification to create and manage potential risks before they are assessed. This section helps you build a complete list of organizational threats and prepare them for the next phase in your risk process.

What you can do in this section

In the Risk identification section, you can:

  • Add new risks manually or use AI-assisted risk discovery

  • Assign categories and descriptions

  • Add a risk owner

  • Activate risks for assessment

What is risk identification?

Risk identification is the process of capturing potential threats that could impact your organization. This includes operational, financial, and compliance risks.

In the Risk Identification section, you can choose how to identify risks and add them manually. To proceed, you must enter the Risk title and assign a Risk owner. You can also organize risks by category. All identified risks are listed for review before the assessment phase begins.
