Importing with Generic Integration Layer
The Generic Vulnerability Integration Layer is an alternative method for importing vulnerabilities, in addition to the Tenable VM integration workflow.

Import vulnerabilities using mapped schemas
Using AI enhanced schema mapping
You can use the Map with AI option to automatically generate field mappings from your import file.
To add a mapping with AI:
-
In Vulnerabilities > Vulnerability settings, select Add mapping.
-
Select Map with AI.
-
Upload your sample file by dragging it into the upload area or selecting it from your system.
-
Select Start AI mapping. AI suggested field mappings are applied and highlighted with a colored border.
-
Verify the Mapping details (required):
-
Mapping name for this mapping configuration.
-
Software source for the assets.
-
File includes indicates whether it contains only Assets, only Vulnerabilities, or both Assets and Vulnerabilities.
-
File type specifies the format of the uploaded file. Supported formats are CSV and JSON.
Note
If the mapping file contains only Assets, only Discrete Asset fields are populated. If it contains only Vulnerabilities, only Vulnerability/ Finding fields are populated. It populates all fields when the file includes both Assets and Vulnerabilities.
-
-
Review and edit the AI suggestions and select Add to accept; a confirmation alert will appear when the suggestion is applied. Complete all remaining required fields.
The new mapping is added, and you are redirected to the Mapping list page.
