Adding a BoardEffect profile photo

You can add a photo to personalize your platform. Once you upload a photo in your profile, it will be visible on the left-hand navigation menu, after you expand it.

Add a profile photo

  1. Expand the left-hand navigation panel, and then select Profile.

  2. To edit your profile, select the arrow on the top left of your profile, and then select "Edit Profile" from the list.

  3. To add a photo in your profile, first select the More tab, then select "Attachments" from the menu.

  4. To search for a photo on your computer, select Browse, and then select the file. The photo will begin to upload.

  5. Once the upload is complete, you can select Save to save the photo in your profile. To learn how to edit your photo, see Editing your profile photo.

    Note

    We suggest selecting a photo that is approximately 200 x 200 pixels. If the file is too large, it cannot upload.

  6. You can view your photo on the left-hand navigation panel, next to the Profile option.

Edit your profile photo

After adding a profile photo, you can edit the photo by cropping it.

  1. To edit your photo, first go to your profile page, by expanding the left-hand navigation panel and selecting Profile.

  2. Select the arrow on the top left, and then select Edit Profile.

  3. Select the More tab, and then select "Attachments" from the menu.

  4. To crop your photo, select Crop. The crop tool will appear on your screen.

  5. Use the crop tool to position the highlighted square over the desired target area. To enlarge the square, you can drag the corners of the crop tool up. To shrink the square, drag the corners of the crop tool down. By default, the crop tool has equal horizontal and vertical dimensions.

  6. To save your changes, select Save.
