Unlocking a BoardEffect user
When users exceed the allotted number of sign in attempts, they are locked out of BoardEffect. You can unlock users, so they can access their profile. This topic describes how to unlock users by viewing all the locked users in the settings or searching for a single locked user in the directory.
View every locked user
Use the settings to view all the users who cannot access BoardEffect and unlock their profile.

To view locked users, select Site Settings and click Manage Users.

Select the Locked Users tab on top of the page.

To unlock a user, select the arrow on the right side of the page, and then select Unlock Profile from the menu.
Search for a locked user and unlock their profile
Use the directory to search for a specific user and unlock their profile.

On the BoardEffect home page, on the left-side Navigation Bar, select Directory .

To search for a user, enter their first and/or last name in the Search field or select "Advanced Search".

To view their profile page, select their name.

To modify their permissions, select the arrow on the top left, and then select Set Permissions from the menu.

To unlock the user, select Unlock Profile on the Access and Permissions dialog box.
