Set a BoardEffect library file to view only
You can set a file to view only so users can read the file, but they cannot print or download it. When you add a new file in the library you can set it to view only, or you can edit an existing file to make it view only. This topic explains how to create view only files.

To access the library, expand the left-hand navigation panel, then select Library
. The Library window will appear.

You'll be taken to the Resource Library. To go to a workroom library, select the workroom name on the left side of the window.

Select a folder name to open it and view the files inside.

To add a new file in the folder, you can use drag-and-drop. The file will be inserted into the folder.

You can also select click for more options to browse your files and upload one. The New Resources window will appear.

To set the file you uploaded to view only, select the checkbox next to View Only.
Note
The view only setting can be applied to files in an Adobe PDF or Microsoft Office format, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.

Select Save to save your changes.

To set a file in the folder to view only, first select the arrow on the far right of the file's row, then select "Edit". The Edit Resource window will appear.

Select the checkbox next to View Only.

Select Save.

A view only icon is displayed next to view only files so you can identify them within the folder.
