Creating categories in a Meeting Book

The main categories and subcategories in a Meeting Book are the framework for your agenda. You can add meeting details in each category, along with files and documents. This topic includes instructions for creating, organizing, and deleting the categories in a Meeting Book.

Main categories

Main categories are significant headers or talking points in the meeting agenda.

  1. Navigate to a workroom and select the Library tab .

  2. You can create a new Meeting Book or select the name of an existing one to view more details.

  3. To add a main category to the Meeting Book, select Add Main Category. The Category dialog will appear.

  4. You can enter meeting details, such as the category name, time of the presentation, presenter name, action items, and/or additional notes in the corresponding fields.

  5. Select Save to save your changes and close the Category dialog.

  6. To change the order of the main categories, select and hold the menu on the right side, and then drag it above or below the other main categories in the Book.

  7. To edit a main category, select the arrow next to the category name, then select "Rename/Edit Note".

  8. To delete a main category, select Delete. A confirmation window appears.

  9. Enter "delete" in the blank field, and then select Continue.

    Note

    The subcategories and any files will be removed from the Meeting Book when you delete a main category.

Subcategories

Subcategories contain important sub-topics or sub-sections of a main category.

  1. To add a subcategory, first expand a main category.

  2. Select Subcategory. The Sub Category dialog will appear.

  3. You can enter meeting details, such as the category name, time of the presentation, presenter name, action items, and/or additional notes in the corresponding fields.

  4. Select Save to save your changes and close the Sub Category dialog.

  5. You can view the subcategory, indented, below the main category.

  6. To move a subcategory, select and hold the menu on the left of the subcategory name, and then drag it above or below the other subcategories in the main category.

    Note

    Subcategories cannot be moved between main categories.

  7. To edit a subcategory, select the arrow next to the category name, then select "Rename/Edit Note".

  8. To delete a subcategory, select Delete. A confirmation window appears.

  9. Enter "delete" in the blank field, and then select Continue.
