Event Settings

Use the Event Settings page to activate a calendar subscription or modify event categories. You can change the color or name of an event category, create a new category, or delete an existing one.

  1. On the BoardEffect home page, on the left-side Navigation Bar, select Site Settings .

  2. Select Event Settings from the list of options.

  3. You can activate a calendar subscription by selecting the checkbox next to Calendar Subscription. When users subscribe to an Event, they can upload the event details to their personal calendar.

  4. To create a new event category, select New Event Category on the top right.

  5. Enter a name for the category in the Text field.

  6. To change the color of the event category, select the colored box on the left, and then select a color from the pallet. For a specific color, you can enter the hex number in the Hex field.

  7. To save new event category, select Save.

  8. To edit an existing event category, select Edit, and then modify the category name or change the color.

  9. To delete an event category, select Delete.
