Creating and using a BoardEffect survey template
Save time by using a template to generate a survey. By default, when a workroom is created, three engagement survey templates are added; the first with 35 questions, the second with 15 questions, and the third with 10 questions.
You can create a new template or you can copy a survey and save it as a template. This topic describes how to create and use a new template.
Create a survey template

Select a workroom, and then select the Collaborate tab
.

Select Survey Templates on top of the page to view a list of survey templates.

To create a new template, select New Survey Template on the right side.

From the New Survey page, enter a name for your template in the Title field. You can also add a due date, description, file, or settings.

Select Save.

You can add a question by selecting Add Question.

To edit an existing question, select the arrow on the right, and then select Edit from the menu.

Your survey template is saved. To use the template, first access the Surveys page by selecting the workroom name.

Select New Survey to create a survey.

From the New survey page, select Template (optional), and then select the survey template from the menu.
Use a survey template
When you need to create and send the same type of survey multiple times, use a survey template. This topic explains how to use a survey template.

To access surveys, select a workroom, and then select the Collaborate tab
.

Select Surveys on top of the page to view a list of surveys.

To create a new survey, select New Survey on the right side.

Select Template (optional) and then select a template from the menu.

To reflect the saved template, the Title and Description fields are pre-populated and the Settings are automatically selected.

You can edit the survey fields and settings, and then select Save.

To edit the questions, select the arrow on the right side, and then select Edit from the menu.

To add a new question, select Add Question.

To complete the survey, select Build Survey on the top right of the page.
