Creating a scheduler in a BoardEffect workroom

Use the scheduler to identify the dates and times when users are available. You can enter a description, attach files, and add custom settings. This topic describes how to create a new scheduler.

  1. To access the scheduler, select a workroom, and then select the Collaborate tab .

  2. Select Scheduler on top of the page to view a list of your schedulers.

  3. To create a new scheduler, select New Scheduler.

  4. Enter a name for the scheduler in the Title field.

  5. To add more details, select from the optional fields:

    • Description
    • Notify
    • File Title
  6. You can configure the scheduler by selecting the checkbox next to one or multiple settings:

    • Allow Comments: you can enter a comment in addition to a response.
    • Allow respondents to edit responses after submission: you can edit your initial response, after submitting the survey.
    • Allow admins to respond on behalf of users: administrators can enter a response on behalf of a different user.
  7. Select Save.

  8. To add options, select New Option.

  9. You can add a custom message in the Option field.

  10. To add a start date, first select the Meeting Start Date/Time field, and then select a date on the calendar that appears.

  11. To enter a start time, select the clock on the bottom of the calendar.

  12. To add an end date, first select the Meeting End Date/Time field, and then select a date on the calendar that appears.

  13. Select the clock on the bottom of the calendar to enter an end time.

  14. You can enter the meeting location in the Location field.

  15. To add more response fields, select Add More Choices.

  16. Select Save.

  17. To build the scheduler, select Build Scheduler on the top right of the page.

  18. To make the scheduler visible to workroom members, select the toggle next to Scheduler not visible. The color of the toggle changes to green.

  19. To add respondents, select Manage Respondents.

  20. To send a message to respondents, select Message Respondents. When you send a message to respondents, a link to the scheduler is auto-populated in the body of the message.

  21. To view responses, you can select Results.
