BoardEffect event card and event details

The event card in BoardEffect contains a summary of the event, such as event title, category, and details. When you select the title of an event, you access the Event Details page, which includes the Meeting Book, surveys, and resources related to the event.

Event card

You can view the event card of an event on the My Upcoming Events section of the BoardEffect home page or in workroom Events.

  • Title: Select the title of the event to access the Event Details page.

  • Meeting details: View information about the meeting location, date and time, and event category.

  • Up arrow: Select to collapse the event card.

  • Responded: Preview and track the number of responses to the event.

    The following elements on an event card hold quick access options for actions that you can also take on the Event Details page:

    • RSVP: Select a response to the event. You can also choose to Decline or Add Notes to your response.

    • Open Attachments: Open attached meeting materials.

    • Add Attachment: Add supporting meeting materials to the event, such as resource files, meeting books, surveys, polls, and approvals.

    • Edit: Select to access the Edit Event page and update meeting details, attendance type, the Guest List and soon.

    • Options: Select Duplicate or Delete event. You can also choose to export the event to Outlook or Google.

When you select the title of an event, the Event Details page opens.

Note

The event card for a shared event displays on the My Upcoming Events section on the home page for all members and admins, but meeting materials only display to the members of the workroom for which the event or the meeting materials were created.

  • Event Details: View a description of the event, including its location, date, and time.

  • Edit: Select to access the Edit Event page.

  • Copy: Duplicate the event.

  • Delete: Remove the event.

  • Books: Open or remove the attached meeting books and resources.

  • My RSVP: View your own response to the event. You can also Clear Response or Add Notes to your response.

  • Attach or Create: Add supporting meeting materials to the event, such as resource files, meeting books, surveys, polls, and approvals.

    Note

    If you share an event with all workrooms, you can only attach meeting books.

  • Books, Resources: Depending on the meeting materials types that have been uploaded, choose the relevant option to view the content of the attachments. Surveys, polls and approvals also display here if they are attached to the meeting.

  • Export to Calendar: Select Outlook/ICS or Google to export the event to an external calendar.

  • Guest List: View and manage the list of guests who are invited to the event. Depending on the attendance type that was created for the event, the guest list is organized by response categories, for example, Attending, Tentatively Attending, Not Attending, and Not Yet Replied.
