Getting started with BoardEffect
The BoardEffect site lets you access your board materials from any web-connected device, via a web interface. You can create a new meeting, collaborate with board members, and update your profile information.
You can access your organization's BoardEffect site on the web after your system administrator has created your account.
Accessing BoardEffect
Before you access the application, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

You have your organization-specific BoardEffect URL. For more information, contact the System Admin. The format is <sitename>.boardeffect.highbond.com or <sitename>.highbond.com.

You have accepted the invitation from the Diligent One System Admin.

Your account is activated.
Note
If your BoardEffect account is not activated, when you select BoardEffect, the Account Activation dialog appears. Select the NOTIFY AND REQUEST ACTIVATION button so that the System Admin gets a notification to activate your account.

The BoardEffect app for iOS or Android is a free download for iPhone, iPad, and Android phones.

BoardEffect for iOS (version 14 and later) is available from the iTunes App Store™.

Sign in to BoardEffect
If you use <sitename>.highbond.com, you are directed to the Diligent One platform home page. To access BoardEffect, on the platform home page, under Boards & Governance, select BoardEffect. However, if you sign in using <sitename>.boardeffect.highbond.com, you can directly go to the BoardEffect homepage.
Based on your organization’s authentication method, you can sign in to BoardEffect in one of the following ways:

Standard authentication Login using your email and password

Custom domain If your organization uses single sign on (SSO), you authenticate using a custom domain.
BoardEffect home page
The BoardEffect home page gives you a consolidated view of all your current board-related information. From the home page, you can access consolidated views of online books, the member directory, messaging, and approvals, or go directly to a workroom for detailed work.
