Install the BoardEffect Android app and sign in

You can download the BoardEffect Android application from the Google Play Store for free. After installing the application, you need to establish a connection and authorize your device. This topic describes how to install and authorize the BoardEffect application, so you can sign in from a mobile device or tablet.

1. To download the BoardEffect Android application, follow these steps:

   1. Sign in to the Google Play Store.

   2. Search for BoardEffect, and select Install.

2. After the installation is complete, open the application.

3. On the application, select the + icon at the top right to add a connection.

4. In the New connection dialog box, do the following:

   1. In the Organization name field, enter the name of your organization.

      This is typically the subdomain in your site URL. For example, if your URL is https://companyname.boardeffect.diligentoneplatform.com/, companyname is the name of your organization.

      Note

      Diligent One Platform also supports the domain www.highbond.com. For more information, see Supported domains.

   2. In the Domain name field, from the dropdown menu, select your domain.

      For example, if your URL is https://companyname.boardeffect.diligentoneplatform.com/, your domain is boardeffect.diligentoneplatform.com.

5. Select Submit.

6. On the Diligent One Platform sign in page that appears, enter your email and password and select Sign in.

   As you are accessing the site for the first time, your administrator must authorize your device. After a successful authentication, the connection is added and is available on the Connections page.

7. Select the connection to access the BoardEffect site.

8. Enter your credentials and select Sign in to reauthenticate.
