Set up Face ID for the BoardEffect app (iOS)
Face ID is available on Apple devices that support Face ID and are using BoardEffect iOS app version v.6.0.0 or later. These instructions only work if your Apple device is set up to use Face ID. Refer to Apple Support on how to set up and use Face ID on an iPhone or iPad Pro.
Note
Your System Admin must first turn on biometric authorization for Apple devices for your organization in System Settings | Mobile Devices.
Before you can use Face ID, you must download and authorize the BoardEffect app on your Apple device. To learn more, refer to Sign In on an iPad or iPhone.

After you have authorized your device, a confirmation message displays to set up a Face ID when you sign in to the app for the first time. Select Yes to turn on Face ID.
Note
If Face ID is not set up on your device, an error message displays with a link to your device Settings where you can turn on Face ID. Refer to Apple Support on how to set up Face ID on your device.

If your face is recognized, the Face ID for "BoardEffect" confirmation message displays, verifying that you will be able to use Face ID the next time you sign in.
