Copying a book
Use the duplicate book function to create a new book based on the properties, structure, and content of an existing one. You can copy a current book or an archived book.
Copy a current book
You can copy a book to reuse materials.

From the Launchpad home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Boards app to open it.
If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Boards app.
You are taken to the Bookshelf.

Select the more options icon
on the right side of a book's row.
A list of options appears.

Select Copy book.
The Copy book page appears. The Book title, meeting dates, and other details are copied from the original book.

You can edit these fields as needed.
Tip
If you already have the book open, you can select the more options icon
on the top right of the screen, and then select Duplicate.

Select the radio button next to Include contents to copy the book in its entirety, including the tab structure and all documents.
By default, only the book’s tab structure is copied.

Select Continue.
The Book permissions page appears with committee and user permissions copied from the original book.

You can update the permissions as needed.

Select Copy book.
A new book is added to the Bookshelf.
Copy an archived book
Copy an archived book to reuse materials.

From the Launchpad home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Boards app to open it.

You are taken to the Bookshelf.

Select the Archived books tab.

Select Restore on the bottom of a book’s row.
The book is restored to the Current books tab on the Bookshelf as an unpublished book.

Select the Current books tab.

You can use Search, as well as the Sort by and Filter options to find the book you restored.

Select the more options icon
on the right side of a book's row.
A list of options appears.

Select Copy book.
The Copy book page appears. The Book title, meeting dates, and other details are copied from the original book.
