Editing a user's profile

Ensure you have the most up-to-date information about users. You can view and edit the information displayed in a user's profile, including their contact information, signature, and photo.

View a user's profile

A list of users is available in the Users module. This section describes how to view a user's profile.

  1. Select Users in the Navigation panel.

    You are taken to the Users page.

    A list of the current Boards users is displayed.

  2. Select View on the right side of a user's row.

    Their profile appears.

Change a user's information

This section describes how to edit a user's contact information, which appears on their profile.

  1. From either the Users page or a user's profile, select Edit.

  2. Select any of the following fields to edit the information displayed on their profile:

Field Description
Sign-in email (read-only) The email address used to sign in to Launchpad. It can only be configured through the account settings.
Board email This email address is used for organization-specific notifications about the user's Boards account, including book and document updates
Phone number The user's preferred phone number
Address The user's physical address (either home or office)
Notes General comments about the user and their Boards account

3. Select Save.

Update a user's photo

This section describes how to change a user's photo.

  1. While editing the user's profile, select Change photo in the Photo field.

    A file picker appears.

  2. Browse your computer for the photo you wish to use, and then select it.

    A preview of the photo appears.

    Note

    The following file types are accepted: .bmp, .jpg, gif, .png

  3. Select Save.

Change a user's signature

This section describes how to update the user's signature on file.

  1. While editing the user's profile, select Change signature in the Signature field.

    A file picker appears.

  2. Browse your computer for the signature you wish to use, and then select it.

    A preview of the signature appears.

    Note

    The following file types are accepted: .bmp, .jpg, gif, .png

  3. Select Save.
