Cover report templates
You can add cover report templates to provide a consistent overview of agenda items. Thus, meeting members can find important information easier in the attached cover reports, and agenda items can be shorter because supplementary details can be added in the cover reports.

Select the Settings icon on the Navigation Bar of the home page, then select Cover report templates. The Workflows and cover report template page displays.

The Cover reports tab lists the available cover report templates.

Select the options icon on the far right of a cover report template to replace the current template by uploading a new template from your computer. You can also choose to rename or delete the current template.

To add a new cover report template, select + Cover Report Template. A document upload window displays to add a document from your computer.
Note
You can only add Word documents as cover report templates.
Edit cover report templates
You can edit a cover report template online with Microsoft Word, the same way you edit a document in Community.

Select the relevant cover report template on the Cover reports tab. The template page opens in HTML preview.

Select Edit on the top left of the page.

The template opens as a Microsoft Word document. You can work in the Microsoft application as if you were using it outside Diligent Community. Use the available toolbar and edit options to update or format the content of the template. You can also collaborate live with other editors, track changes, or add comments.

Your edits are saved automatically.

To close the edit page and return to the Cover reports page, select Back.
